'358' comes from its size 3" x 0.5" x 8 gauges which means approx. 76.2mm x 12.7mm x 4mm (Length x height x Diameter).
358 mesh fence is extremely difficult to penetrate, with the small mesh aperture, it is extremely difficult to be attacked using Auto hand tools. 358 mesh fences are regarded as one of the most security border fence, because it is difficult to climb. It is called border protection fence and anti climb fencing. 358 mesh fencing can be bent in part to enhance the strength.

Panels
The mesh panel is 2900mm wide and heights range from 900mm to 5200mm.
Aperture is 76.2 x 12.7mm, and made by 4mm wires.
Weld strength is 80% of the minimum tensile strength of the wire (tensile range 500-650 N/m²).
Extra length of panels can be supplied for buried with 300mm underground to prevent burrowing.

Coating
1. Panels are manufactured by pre-galvanised wires.
UV protect coating: epoxy polyester coating (100 micron). or Plastic/PVC coating
2. Full hot dipped galvanized 450-550g/m2
3. Galfan coating is also available
Colours
Standard colours are Green RAL6005 and Black RAL9005, or Anthracite RAL7016
