The Gabion Basket collection offers a durable, custom and economical solution to protect gabion walls, gabion fences, outdoor furniture and architectural designs for residential and commercial projects.

Our gabion stone baskets can be cut in the field to fit curves, culverts or angles. Unlike competitors' gabions, it uses wire reinforcement at all external corners of the structure. This strengthens the sides, eliminates bulges, increases openness, and makes backfilling easier.

A gabion is a modular building block made of wire mesh and filled with rock, stone or crushed concrete on the ground. They are filled on site and often filled with locally available materials, which is capital cost efficient and relatively inexpensive. Because they are flexible and porous, they can absorb wave and wind energy, reducing erosion problems associated with impermeable seawalls such as concrete revetments. The gabion can be placed like an inclined "mattress" or near a vertical cubic basket. The latter aims to stabilize banks or cliffs. Steel welded gabions are very sturdy wire mesh rock filled baskets that are primarily used as retaining walls. Due to their characteristic rigidity, these baskets are particularly suitable for tall and freestanding structures. They are used in many situations: stabilization of earth movements and erosion, control of rivers, watersheds, rehabilitation of canals, landscaping, retaining walls. They can be made with welded mesh or woven wire. Welded mesh gabions do not require tensioning. This keeps the shape, has no bulges or bumps and fits easily against the wall. If you need to pass pipes, etc., you can drill them and fill them mechanically.

All of the gabion panels are made of heavy gauge welded galvanized steel. The galvanized coating prevents corrosion and provides great strength to any structure while being lightweight.

Galvan is a hot-dip galvanized steel coated with an alloy of 95% zinc and 5% aluminum. This solid solution improves corrosion resistance by more than 50% compared to conventional galvanizing.
